"...swimwear designed for the last resort." Great copy.
Everest Isles, based in Newport, RI is creating swim trunks. In a classic style and with strong construction details they are expected to last forever... BTW great name - evocative of far off places but also a bit of adventure. Hat tip. Made in New England from industrial/nautical grade hardware and threads. One back pocket, no exterior labels. For now just the trunks but some more product being introduced this spring so I hear - look forward to it.

These hem looks like a shark is gnawing on my leg.
Cordage looks dope
I like thinking of the need for swim trucks when it's snowing outside. Nice looking site :)
@suzy - right? get your mind off it. @elliott - great point. bonus.
Great Looking Shorts! I am definitely looking forward to seeing the spring collection. Chum looks like a great color for those shorts.
Great stitching. Subtle yet distinguished. The deep glade would be my pick.
Solid looking work. Deep glade is my (obvious) choice.
Great looking shorts! Looking forward to the spring collections.
Sea Smoke looks phenomenal. Would work well with my boat shoes.
These look great, but my real first impression is that $185 is a little steep for some trunks. I'll stick to my $40 made in USA Katin board shorts. However, I never look a gift horse in the mouth so if I'm picked I'll gladly take a black pair!
The sea smoke is the perfect color scheme for lake or ocean. Love the minimal design of the site; straight forward and easy to navigate. Cheers!
roughy is my color choice.
sweet trunks. abyss for me.
Very classy. Not too much, not too little.
dyneema details and clean utilitarian design remind me of those orange nasa space suits, so roughy would be my choice (the gorilla rigging exclusive kevlar pocketed pairs on the blog are extra nice)
Those are a nice looking pair of trunks. Chum is a great color and a great name.
wicked awesome! I assume the high price reflects the quality. green
The Roughy looks like it'd be some nice FU shorts come summertime
The Roughy looks like some great FU shorts come summertime
Torn between Roughy and Deep Glade. Simple and function, perfect combo. Their blog has great commentary, too.
Considering I've worn running shorts as a bathing suit the last 2 summers, these look amazing!
Dig em. I'm going to Hawaii in a few weeks to surf a bit and could use a new pair of trunks. I'll even report back on how they hold up. Can already tell they could use a drain hole in the wax pocket. Free R and D. And the ethos is tough to read in cursive (but I can't really read cursive anyway).
Roughy would be my color of choice.
The bottom hem is interesting. Somewhat on the fence about it. Anchor logo is fantastic though! Always loved RI's old state flag. Sea smoke is the color I would wear.
@PW - just realised about the RI flag.
amazing. dyneema!?!? they look beautiful. country of origin??
like james cameron, i'd rock the ABYSS.
Roughy is striking
@Tom USA.
I'd love to swim into the abyss with some abyss trunks on.
placeholder for Todd E.
tough choice... I'd have to go with roughy
Roughy, for the old man
I see a lunar landing in my future
Oh man. I missed my shot. Now I guess I'm going to have to use the left over change from buying my cottage on Bellevue Ave. to get a pair.
