A few weeks ago local illustrator and 10engines friend Christine Mitchell (
N'East Style) gave a talk at the Somerville (MA) Public Library about her work, career path and the usefulness [necessity? -ed.] of social media. This is the second
design talk organized by the Friends of the Somerville Public Library (for whom I volunteer), the first talk featured
Aaron Draplin a few months ago. Sidenote, The Friends have a big book sale fundraiser happening this weekend -

The gents from
Rough Water Films put together a glimpse at the short lecture and ensuing
afternoon tea-social; featuring Kick*ss Cupcakes, deer-sausage rolls [yes! -ed] and pumpkin pie ice cream. Not messing around... Must add huge thanks to my sis for being KP.
