wait, so 70s office workers were actually right?

Love these mug-top drip coffee makers. Win one for the cubicle drones.

I keep coming back to this great quote from Benji Wagner;
"I can see getting through life without coffee if you don’t have kids, but for us parents, there is no choice.
It is a steady flow of coffee or death, simple as that."
Haha.

Have you seen Black Gold? Good stuff. Thought the reporter said freeze dried crap below... might has well have.

Oh boy here we go. I mean, sure, of course... This looks more like a thinly veiled indictment of the American Big Coffee Bidness, i.e. Starbucks, than a think piece about the moral implications of drinking joe. To drip or not to drip....

I drink it constantly. When I'm not drinking it I'm drinking sweet tea or hot tea --- Lapsang Souchong or Assam --- in a failed effort to keep up with the kid. Good and apt quotation there.

I got an identical one cup in pale yellow china at one of my charity sop for a £1 or so and the best bit was the Melitta box of filters with it in size 101 ! The box looked pre war !!

Looks interesting. We have similar problems here with potato farmers getting the raw deal with a major corporation making all the profits by making the fries for Mc Demons.
