Big fan of ginger beer. This Fentimans is a storied brand from the UK that may be available in the states soon/now?? They also sell shandy (basically a mix of carbonated lemonade and beer) drunk

most delicious & quite a kick indeed... ;) Curiosity Cola is nice too ...Dandelion & Burdock is my British b/h's fave, very old fashioned, not too different from root beer I'd say
This ginger beer still has a trace of alcohol in it....not enough to make it boozy obviously and it is sold as non alcoholic in Britain as it is under the minimum. Anyway, the brand is great and the tonic is stellar. Used to serve it all the time.
forgot to say, the ad is hilarious. Love it.
all their stuff has a touch of booze in it, being naturally fermented. The liquor store in porter has the ginger beer and Zing Pizza has the burdock, lemonade and cola. I think Permberton has 4 packs?

I'm no longer considered "school children" but Leine's Summer Shandy is actaully pretty good on a hot summer day.

Awesome. Just had my first Fentiman's in a San Diego bar called the Neighborhood. Came in these 125ml bottles, fun "pour your own drink" thing. I did find it locally, but man, spendy. Works great for my fall drink though (bourbon/ginger).
It is my favorite brand of ginger beer. I've managed to find it at a chain store called World Market
