Thumb and index finger are coated in conductive T-Ink (go to the site, some cool applications for this stuff) so you can scroll/swipe/muteyourfriends while out on the hill and not expose your hands to the elements. I guess technically they are nice, but aesthetically are horrible, I prefer any goretex glove work for the snow, is more cool
