father's day gift guide -sub $50

Pretty much anything on 10e would work as a father's day gift, though have to mention -how did father's day suddenly become such a thing?? Feel like we get a pretty good deal generally... now gifts and a slap-up ribs lunch too -just for towing the line? Anyhow, to get all Father's Day about it, the picks should probably be made of either leather, cast iron, slate or a combination of the above... (great guide over at ApothecaryFox too)

Sidenote: 10e is a grilling-tool fee zone (and though parent friendly, 10e will always be a diaper-bag free zone).

Bisley cups. Nothing says i'm ready to shoot like a swift snort. I have my grandfather's set but you can start the tradition for about 20quid.

Cast iron crow bottle opener. $24. Japanese forging techniques natch'.

Repurposed gravel bag. 26 oz. natural canvas. $21.

Not crazy about camo generally but these Klein bags are on heavy discount. $27.

Simple untanned repurposed toolbelt. Nice little Klein embossed stamp, oink. $12 $8.

Cast iron cricket bootjack. Classic. $20.

Slate coasters (got these last year, thx Sally!) Probably made of rescued roof slates from a lumbercamp's chapel in the Green Mountains... Sub$30.

Deadstock bandana/pocket ballast/sneeze sheet. Might take some looking but these come up on the 'bay pretty often. $10 right now.
